Wie ben ik

Martien Strik (1975) born in Nijmegen (city in the Netherlands). His passion lies in the acute and intensive care, before he started nursing training, he worked as a driver at the GP and ambulance service in the Netherlands.

In the end, after his nursing training, he worked in the Netherlands as a nurse at the emergency department, events assistance and within the hospital in various departments.

Since 2 years he lives with his lovely wife and 2 young sons in Belgium. Here he is working as a nurse at the Emergency Department and Intensive Care.



He is currently following the Belgium course to become a (Bachelor after Bachelor) Intensive Care and Emergency Care nurse, at the Odisee Hogeschool in Aalst, where he expects to graduate in July.

In addition to his passion for acute care, he has been studying the Japanese martial arts Aikido and Iaido for more than 12 years, in which he also taught for several years.
